I bought this mower after exhaustively reading reviews all over the net. It is a very good mower. A few points.
Installation: People wrote they unpacked and had it running in 20 minutes. Assembly actually only takes 3 minutes--the other 17 minutes is taking off all the protective packing.
Mulching: This mower's mulching capabilities (at least with a new sharp blade) are tremendous. The grass was cut so fine that I thought it really wasn't being cut - until I looked behind me and saw the lawn cut beautifully.
Cord: You just have to live with it. No gas, no oil, little maintenace all are wonderful. Would have liked a cordless but too many problems based on reviews.
Mulching makes the cord easier. If you are bagging or side discharging, it may get in the way.
All in all, highly recommended.

I was waiting on availability of another similar mower for a few months and gave up and bought this one. Very happy with power, features, and options. However I was not happy with the rubber dam at the back of the mower that folds into the cutting path when pulled back. On the lowest setting the blade chopped it up. I checked installation and it was correct so it is a design issue. There is a round bottom that should be much larger in diameter so it cannot fold back under the mower. Also, this is a thin steel housing but it is steel. I suspect it will not last as long as my Lawnboy that I had for 30 years! So far it runs great and has power. It is light and easy to move around. Love the feel and the larger wheels in the back.
Most of the metal is thinner than one would expect from such a piece of equipment...I suspect this is a steel saving measure due to high prices for steel. In the long run I suspect this will be the downfall. The blade is about half the thickness of most blades on my other mowers. I have used it three times...big nicks in blades and rubber dam is trash.
I am happy with how it works for now...time will tell.
I am going to request they replace the rear mower flap under warranty...will let you know how it goes in a followup on this review.

I bought this to replace a B&D model which stoppeed running after 4 years. The metal body makes all the difference. I don't worry about running over small branches as much as I did with the other model. It is much quieter than the B&D model and I like the push button start much better than the handle start on the B&D. It is really light which is surprising since it is metal and assembly was a breeze.
